Transcend's Reflections: A Holiday Message for 2022

The following message was sent to Transcend customers on December 20, 2022.

As 2022 comes to a close, we wanted to send a note of reflection and gratitude, and wish you a restful holiday season—however you’re celebrating.

While ups and downs have become the global norm for these last few years, we’re proud of what our team has achieved this year and humbled by the support of our incredible customers. Every day, you help us live up to our vision of putting users everywhere in control of their data.

It’s been a big year for that vision and for Transcend:

  • We crossed five million data rights requests fulfilled with Transcend,

  • Including 20 million (automated) datapoint lookups across data systems,

  • And over 1 billion privacy-related network requests governed worldwide by Transcend Consent.

  • We launched Data Mapping, Data Discovery, Assessments, and 14 more new features in the last 6 months.

  • We hosted hundreds of you at virtual sessions and IRL community dinners in San Francisco, Chicago, and NYC.

  • And that ‘Data Rights for All’ cap you love? 682 of them made their way into the hands of privacy pros across the country.

And we’re just getting started. From day 1 we set out to build something that took a radically different approach to privacy, eschewing patchwork solutions for deeply architected and user-respecting privacy tooling. It’s been incredible to reflect on a year of partnerships with people who truly value this approach, and we can’t wait to share more on what we’re working on in the new year.

As you well know, privacy is at an inflection point. In just a few days, the next wave of U.S. privacy laws will come into effect, with more to follow in the coming months. These laws bring with them new rights and new requirements—putting new pressures on cross-functional privacy teams to ensure compliance.

As this evolution continues, we're grateful that you’ve chosen Transcend as your privacy partner—ensuring you’re not just covered for whatever's ahead, but that  your users get nothing short of the best privacy experience possible.

Happy Holidays, and here’s to another great year ahead.
