Why we celebrate data privacy week
Stepping back from the fanfare, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on why we’re here in the first place. Our mission is to make it simple for companies to give users control of their data.
Luckily, when harnessed the right way, technology continues to chip away at the challenge. Regulation has sketched the outlines, but technology paves the path for implementation–helping to create the full picture of how modern data rights should work.
We believe instant access, intuitive controls, data transparency, and ubiquity are the fundamental building blocks that will create the future of privacy. Ultimately, we believe privacy matters–it’s at the core of all we do.
That’s why…
- Transcend’s co-founders, Ben and Mike, took on the personal challenge of putting users everywhere in control of their data–after struggling to retrieve their own data from brands they used.
- It quickly became clear that an engineering-focused approach was the only way to overcome the incredible complexity and technical challenge of effectively fulfilling a data subject request.
- With 69% of technology leaders reporting an increase in data subject requests in the last year, Transcend is committed to being the unified privacy platform, engineered to automate privacy requests and put your users first.
- Transcend is proud to serve industry-leading brands like Clubhouse, Robinhood, Patreon, and many more to easily and comprehensively honor data rights for all their users.
We’re proud of the work we do, and are grateful everyday for our dedicated team and amazing customers. Happy data privacy week everyone!
