With a distinguished career spanning nearly two decades, Ron brings unparalleled expertise and leadership in privacy strategy and advocacy. His appointment marks a significant milestone in Transcend's commitment to innovation and thought leadership in the rapidly evolving data privacy landscape.

As the former Chief Privacy Officer at Grindr and its first DPO, Ron pioneered initiatives to safeguard user privacy within one of the world's largest social networking platforms for the LGBTQ+ community. Ron also co-authored the latest Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) textbook and is a frequent contributor to the IAPP Privacy Advisor. His contributions extend beyond organizational boundaries, as evidenced by his leadership in the LGBTQ Privacy & Tech Network, a global coalition of privacy professionals driving social impact through fundraising initiatives.
